When it comes to houseplant gardening, it can become quite messy. A way to avoid this is to use a potting mat. Here at Cotton Lily, along with my talented mum, we have designed and entirely handmade this unique potting mat. You maybe wondering why is it unique, potting mats have been around for years. What makes the Cotton Lily potting mat different is it’s handmade using organic materials, plastic free, it folds away into a flat packed pouch for easy storage unlike the plastic rolled versions and it can been used to store your houseplant gardening essentials at the same time. This is perfect for any houseplant lover. 
How to use 
Fold mat out flat and popper the corners together to create raised edges that keep your growing medium in one manageable space. When finished, fold up the sides and pour excess medium back into its container. 
Shake mat outside, release the poppers and fold away until next time. 
Your mat can also be used to store your houseplant essentials by laying them in the middle of the waxed cotton before folding away. Please note if you are storing sharp items, wrap the pointed end with a cloth first so they do not pierce the fabric.

Care instructions
Wipe over waxed cotton with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. 
Should you need to wash the outer cotton casing, handwash in cool water and avoid scrunching. 
Do NOT machine wash or tumble dry.
