Who is Cotton Lily?

Cotton Lily is a floating earth kind and indoor plant shop that was created by me, Katie, back in 2018. Cotton Lily wasn't always a floating shop. In fact, it started life on my dining table in a Bedfordshire cottage after watching Blue Planet 2 and discovering the plastic pollution problem. I put my sewing and design skills to use, having long been dormant, creating plastic-free reusables.

Over the years, the Cotton Lily range has grown and now, following my passions, has relaunched to bring you indoor plants, sustainably made macrame plant hangers and handmade plant accessories.

My life has completely changed since my indie business started.

In 2021 I moved to Somerset and bought a 66ft narrowboat that we named 'Lily Gurl' and she is now our home and floating shop, cruising along the west end of the Kennet and Avon canal.

In case you were wondering where the name Lily comes from, she's my baby, a ginger Pomeranian. It's all about Lily.
